SuperMag was a children's magazine in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Each issue was full of diverse stories, from celebrity news to pieces on environmental awareness.

The Muppets made at least two appearances on the cover of SuperMag:

• Vol. 4, No. 1 (1979): The cover featured a composited photo of Miss Piggy and Burt Reynolds. This issue included a photo spread entitled "The Lovable Miss Piggy," as well as a short biography of Jim Henson.

• Vol. 6, No. 4 (1981): The cover was a cartoon rendering of Kermit and Miss Piggy, with no artist information given. The article included information on the Muppets' comic strip and the Muppet Stuff store in New York City.
