Stevepippin

Steve Pippin, now usually billed as Stevan Pippin, is a songwriter, singer, and actor who, with Jeff Pennig and Jeff Harrington, co-wrote three of the songs in Follow That Bird: "The Grouch Anthem," "Easy Goin' Day," and "Ain't No Road Too Long."

Pippin began his professional music career in Nashville, writing songs for Barbara Mandrell, Crystal Gayle, Dr. Hook, Tammy Wynette, and Kenny Rogers. At the same time he began working as a session singer, backing up Kenny Rogers, Waylon Jennings, Mac Davis, and Andy Williams, as well as commercial jingles. Acting credits include commercials, the TV movie The Conviction of Kitty Dodds, and as part of the comedic musical troupe The Glory Bugles (playing Dr. Harley Never).
