Steve L. Hayes co-wrote story and teleplay for Muppets' Wizard of Oz
Steve L. Hayes is a writer, usually teamed with Debra Frank. Hayes and Frank co-wrote the story and teleplay for the 2005 TV movie The Muppets' Wizard of Oz. He also co-wrote lyrics to the songs "Calling All Munchkins" and "When I'm with You." For the latter, he shared an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Music and Lyrics.
Hayes wrote an episode of Hey Arnold and, with Frank, co-wrote the TV movies Santa Who? (with Leslie Nielsen), Home Alone 4 (with French Stewart), Mr. St. Nick (with Kelsey Grammer), and The Man Who Saved Christmas (with Jason Alexander and Edward Asner).
