Stemilt Growers, Inc. partnered with Sesame Street's Healthy Habits for Life initiative in mid-2005 with a promotional program designed to educate children and their parents on the health benefits of cherries. In the fall of 2007 Sesame Street teamed up with Stemilt again to promote pears and apples.
