Stefan de Walle (b. 1965) is a Dutch actor. Since 2011, he is the official portrayer of Sinterklaas. He took over the role from Bram van der Vlugt, who had played Sinterklaas the previous 25 years. De Walle also appears as Sinterklaas in several TV shows, including the annual holiday episode of Sesamstraat.
Stefan de Walle became known to the general public for his portrayal of the character of Kees Flodder in the TV series Flodder (1993–1998), that revolved around an antisocial family. Nelly Frijda played his mother, the materfamilias of the Flodder family. The series ended in 1998 because De Walle's co-star Coen van Vrijberghe de Coningh, who starred as his older brother, suddenly passed away one year earlier.
Furthermore, De Walle played the role of Rik Hoogendoorn's brother in a 2002 episode of the police series Baantjer and he portrayed a physician in an episode of Waltz (2006), a drama series that featured Aart Staartjes and Theo Maassen. He had a small part in Rita Horst's movie Iep! (2010) as well. In 2012 he played a supporting role in the film Doodslag, alongside Theo Maassen and Mamoun Elyounoussi, as well as a leading role in De marathon, a comedy-drama motion picture written by and co-starring Martin van Waardenberg.
