The Evolution of Statler and Waldorf (1975-present)

	The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence	1975	Statler and Waldorf are shown as elderly gentleman in a lounge setting.
	The Muppet Show Season 1	1976-1979	Statler and Waldorf now reside in the balcony.
	The Muppet Show Season 4	1979-1980	In later years, the Statler and Waldorf puppets were made out of latex foam. Waldorf's eyes are less slanted.
	The Muppet Show Season 5	1980-1996	Their designs are basically the same, but with lighter, paler skintones.
	Muppets Tonight	1996-1998	Statler and Waldorf return to a setting similar to the one seen in The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence. Their regular attire for the first season is pajamas and robes, and their skin tones are brighter. Waldorf's head has become much rounder.
	Muppets from Space	1999	As in Muppets Tonight, Statler and Waldorf are shown in a more domestic setting, most often in robes and pajamas. When wearing suits, their garb is brighter and more garish than their theater clothes. In certain shots, Waldorf's skin appears more tanned than usual. The dark patches in Statler's hair are a deeper near-black rather than gray, while Waldorf's appears curlier.
	It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie	2002	Statler and Waldorf revert back to their original outfits. Waldorf's hair is longer and his eyes appear closer together.
	Statler and Waldorf: From the Balcony	2005-2008	Waldorf's eyes are wider, and his hair is noticeably slicked back in all but a few patches, for a more combed appearance.
	Disney Xtreme Digital	2008-2010	Waldorf is looking alot more like he originally did with squinted eyes, a more bulbous nose, more pronounced cheek bones and messier hair.
	The Muppets, Muppet Show Theme Song Music Video	2011-present	Statler and Waldorf are now looking even more like their '70s selves, with Waldorf's nose regaining the simpler teardrop shape, his chin losing width, and some slight differences such as Statler's lighter gray hair. In the above image, they appear to have contrasting skintones, almost reminiscent of those seen in Muppets from Space (Waldorf's skin seems tanner than Statler's).
