Season 1
1976 through 1978 Statler and Waldorf now reside in the balcony. Richard Hunt performs Statler.

1979 through 1980 In later years, the Statler and Waldorf puppets were made out of latex foam.

1981 through 1981 In the fifth season, their design is similar to the earlier season four puppets.
Muppets Tonight 1996 through 1998 Statler and Waldorf return to a setting similar to the one seen in The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence. Their regular attire for the first season is pajamas and robes, and their skin tones are brighter.
Muppets from Space 1999 As in Muppets Tonight, Statler and Waldorf are shown in a more domestic setting, most often in robes and pajamas. When wearing suits, their garb is brighter and more garish than their theater clothes. In certain shots, Waldorf's skin appears more tanned than usual. The dark patches in Statler's hair are a deeper near-black rather than gray, while Waldorf's appears curlier.

Statler and Waldorf: From the Balcony 2006 Waldorf's eyes are wider, and his hair is noticeably slicked back in all but a few patches, for a more combed appearance.
