Stan was a Bunch Beetle, and believed to have been the last surviving Bunch Beetle after WESAYSO turned the swamp, where Bunch Beetles mate, into a wax fruit factory and killed off all other Bunch Beetles who got in the way.

Stan appeared in the last episode of Dinosaurs, Changing Nature. He stopped by the Sinclair household after getting lost on the way to the swamp, and quickly became attracted to Charlene Sinclair. After learning that he might be the last Bunch Beetle, he stayed with the Sinclairs.
