"Spinning Wheel" was a hit from the self-titled second album of Blood, Sweat & Tears in 1969.
The song is performed by Teresa Brewer while Sweetums pushes her on a swing in episode 222 of The Muppet Show. The set decoration is reminiscent of Jean-Honoré Fragonard's painting The Swing.
Gordon also sang "Spinning Wheel" in the first season of Sesame Street, beginning on episode 0012.
