"Solace: A Mexican Serenade" is a piano composition by Scott Joplin and the only one of his pieces to integrate tango rhythms with his trademark ragtime. The song, which was not among Joplin's most popular, gained renewed interest when it was featured in the 1973 film The Sting alongside several of his other rags, including "The Entertainer."
