Snow White and the Hundred Dwarfs is the sixth track on the Sesame Street album Sleepytime Bird. In this song, Maria suggests that a bedtime story would put Big Bird to sleep rather than a lullaby, so she tells the story of Snow White, where she finds a cottage owned by a "hundred dwarfs", who introduce themselves by name. Unfortunately, David interrupts her at the 60th dwarf (thus abruptly ending the song), claiming it didn't work and Big Bird was still awake.
The dwarves include Lumpy, Snappy, Sneaky, Squeezy, Gropey, Mopey, Fretful, Sleazy, Dancer, Prancer, Blitzen, Crock, "a little dwarf who just lost his sock", Humpty, Dumpty, Soggy, Squeaky, Doris, Horace, Morris, Leaky, Billy, Millie, Willy, Nillie, Chilly (who wears a sweater to emphasize the fact), Bitten, Batten, Durstine, Orman, Margot, Rudolf, Norman, Miles, Standish, Alden, John, O'Leary (who lives in a barn), Flippy, Spanky, Hokey, Tacky, Jenny, Polly, Messy, Mackey, Pokey, Flakey, Fricket, Fracket, Fuzzy, Careless (who just lost his jacket), Sticky, Gooky, Hanky, Panky, Rizzuto, DiMaggio, Yastrzemski, Stanky, and 40 others.
The names Sneaky, Pokey, and Flakey were previously used as some of the Six Dwarves on Sesame Street itself, while the latter two and Leaky were used in the "Big Bird's Story Hour" rendition in The Sesame Street Book of Fairy Tales.
