Snarl the Cigar Box Frackle was the puppet that looked like Gonzo but appeared on The Great Santa Claus Switch. Snarl's name was finished and was called Gonzo.

Snarl got performed by Danny Seagren and then Dave Goelz performed him since The Muppet Show when he was named The Great Gonzo.
