A skeleton is a framework that supports a body. In animals, a skeleton is made up of bones. The human skeleton has come to represent an image macabre in nature when pertained to popular culture.
A human skeleton lives inside Count von Count's castle, attached to the wall. It appears in the framing sequence of Elmo Says BOO!, identified by Count von Count as the same fellow who sang "Bones" with him.
Another skeleton appears to briefly sing with Alice Cooper in "Welcome to My Nightmare" from episode 307 of The Muppet Show. A skeleton puppet was also used for Dead Tom in Muppet Treasure Island, Colonel Thomas Blood's remains in Muppets Most Wanted, and as Duddy in Muppets Haunted Mansion. Another skeleton has been used in the Muppet Meeting Films' "Great Salespeople in History" (as a skull) and "Top Ten Reasons to Take a Break."
