A skeleton is a framework that supports a body. In animals, a skeleton is made up of bones. The human skeleton has come to represent an image macabre in nature when pertained to popular culture.

A human skeleton lives inside Count von Count's castle, attached the wall. It appears in the framing sequence of Elmo Says BOO!, identified by Count von Count as the same fellow who sang "Bones" with him.

Another skeleton appears to briefly sing with Alice Cooper in "Welcome to My Nightmare" from episode 307 of The Muppet Show.
