Sissy appears as one of Grover's exercise assistants, with her partner Bobby, in the Sesame Street direct-to-video, Happy Healthy Monsters.

In a Sesame Street sketch, "Grover's Monster Workout Video", one of Grover's exercise assistants is also named Sissy.

Bobby and Sissy's names are a reference to Bobby Burgess and Cissy King, a popular dance team on The Lawrence Welk Show in the late 60s and 70s who were known as "Bobby and Cissy".
