Sir Arthur Conan Rubberducque received an "as told to credit" on Betty Lou's book, Sherlock Hemlock and the Great Twiddlebug Mystery or The Mystery of the Terrible Mess in My Friend's Front Yard. The unseen scribe's name is a reference to Sherlock Holmes' creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
