Sing! Sesame Street Remembers Joe Raposo and His Music was a television special broadcast on PBS in honor of Joe Raposo after he passed away. Taped in April 1990, the special was hosted by Jon Stone.
The documentary included interviews from Jim Henson, Walter Cronkite, Michael Krauss, Joan Lunden, Joel Siegel, Bob McGrath, Liz Smith, Dave Marash, Marc Brugnoni, Chris Cerf, Jerry Nelson, Pat Collins Raposo, Nick Raposo, Joe Raposo, Jr., Joan Ganz Cooney, Erich Segal, Jonathan Schwartz, Frank Oz, Jacques d'Amboise, Morley Safer, John Velasco, Sheldon Harnick, several studio musicians, Jim Mitchell, Phil Donahue and a song montage of "Sing" with Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum, Barbara Bush, Max Roach, Isaac Stern (Also appeared in the 2000 version), Candice Bergen, Glenn Close and Kathie Lee Gifford. The documentary was specially re-aired one day after the death of Henson.
