Sien's Store

Sien's Store was located on Sesamstraat until season 30. Described in early materials as a grocerystore, Sien's functions largely as a general store. The residents of Sesame Street visit Sien's regularly, including Tommie, who often helps doing little work or takeaway.

Sien's Store had gone through a few redesigns over the years: 1976, the store was a real store in a little town named Torn (a half Dutch, half Belgian town). The second season they builded the street and its store inside the studio, which slowly evolved into a more abstracted, colourful one.

The store was a gathering from all the actors and muppets, where they share there problems, laughs and sometimes even gossip!

For the 2005/2006 season, Sesamstraat moved into new scenery and the Store didn't return.
