Shalom M. Fisch, also credited as Sholly Fisch, is a writer with a Ph.D. in developmental psychology who has written several books studying the effects of Sesame Street on its viewers, including "G is for Growing" and "Children's Learning from Educational Television: Sesame Street and Beyond".

Fisch has also written a Ghostbusters novel and many comic books for DC Comics and Marvel Comics, including "Super Friends", "Batman Beyond", and "Marvel Comics Presents".
