Shirley is a little Anything Muppet girl who sang "I Love My Hair" and "Change the World" on Sesame Street.

While her name has yet to be mentioned on the show, Elmo mentioned her name in an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show to promote season 41, referring to her as "a very close friend named Shirley".^[1]
