Sheena, Queen of the Jungle is a comic book heroine, first published in 1937. Beating out Wonder Woman by three years, Sheena, Queen of the Jungle was the first female comic book character with her own title. The comic was the inspiration for two television series, the later featuring Baywatch alum Gena Lee Nolin as Sheena, and a feature film.
