Sharon Groan is a Grouch take-off of Sharon Stone who appeared in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. Sharon is the star of the movie Basically It Stinks, and an unpopular Grouchland celebrity.

The same Grouch puppet is also used as the Grouch Ice Cream Customer. The puppet's most recent appearance was in Episode 4203 as a Grouch spectator.
