Shalom M. Fisch, also credited as Sholly Fisch, is a writer with a Ph.D. in developmental psychology who has written several books studying the effects of Sesame Street on its viewers, including G is for Growing and Children's Learning from Educational Television: Sesame Street and Beyond.
Fisch has also written a Ghostbusters novel and many comic books for DC Comics and Marvel Comics, including Super Friends, Batman Beyond, and Marvel Comics Presents.
