German toy company Living Puppets released a line of full-body Sesamstrasse puppets of Bert, Cookie Monster, the Count, Elmo, Ernie, Finchen, Grover, Oscar and Samson in 2006. In the same year, Gund distributed identical copies of Cookie Monster, Elmo, Ernie and Grover under their license in the United States.

A Super Grover puppet was added in 2007. The company is currently planning to produce puppets of Pferd and Wolle, to be released for the holiday season in late 2010.
