Sesamstraat Kerstspecial is a Sesamstraat Christmas special, produced by the Dutch co-production of Sesame Street. Besides the typical Christmas holiday, the show also celebrates the 40th anniversary of the original show.

The Sesamstraat characters decorate the street for the Christmas spirit. The special contains clips from classic Sesame Street episodes, plus special musical numbers sung by the Sesamstraat Muppets, together with several famous Dutch performers and actors.

	Intro	Meneer Aart and Arjan drag a large tree to their home for decorating.
	Animation	F/f candles
	Song	De boom (The Tree) is sung by Willeke Alberti and Ieniemienie, while the cast and other Muppets sweep their brooms in the background.
	Cartoon	A short rhyme about an Elk who wears socks because his feet are too cold.
	small sketch	Arjan, Lot, Sien and Peetje are holding the Christmas decoration and lights.
	Song	Stoepkrijt (Sidewalk Chalk) is sung by Edsilia Rombley and Pino. During this song, the dog Masha comes along and poos in the sky that's being drawn on the sidewalk, adding a weird 'cloud' to the drawing. (YouTube)
	small sketch	Meneer Aart and Hakim walk by with a large pan of boullion and jelly pudding.
	Cartoon	A short rhyme about finding some coals, a carrot and a hat... to conclude on this spot once stood a snowman.
	Song	Zeg, zal ik je eens even wat vertellen? (± Hey, I've Got Something To Tell You) is sung by Trijntje Oosterhuis and Ieniemienie. According to the song grownups think they can count everything, but if you ask them questions like "How many drops of water fit in a glass?", they get confused. (YouTube)
	small sketch	Purk is scared by Frank, who's disguised as a ghost. He thinks that is a good joke, but Purk is really scared!
	Song	Goudvis (Goldfish) is sung by Guus Meeuwis and Pino. They got a goldfish and a fish tank, while all they wanted was a dog. During the song, Guus holds a goldfish in a plastic bag. At the end he lets the fish swim in the tank. (YouTube)
	Muppets	"El Baile del Penguino"
	Song	Trappetje naar de maan (Stairway to the Moon) is sung by Huub van der Lubbe and Tommie. They sing about visiting the moon while preparing for bed.
	Cartoon	Two characters sleep in a bunk bed, but there's only one blanket. They find all sorts of things to distract the other so they can steal the blanket. In the end, they both sleep in the same bed and share the blanket.
	Song	Ik weet heus wel waar ik woon (± I Actually Know Where I Live Myself) is sung by Hind and Pino. Pino does not find it pleasant that a stranger brings him back home, and certainly that his mother thanks her and gives her a kiss for it! (YouTube)

	small sketch	Pino is pulling a large sleigh. In it are Tommie, Ieniemienie and Purk.
	Muppets	All Dressed Up is performed by Bert, about preparing for winter by wearing the correct clothing.
	small sketch	Arjan comes near the screen to spray it with spray snow. He draws a face in it...
	Song	Mijn achterkant (My Backside) is sung by André van Duin and Pino. They meet on the street and start singing about their front and back. André grabs a cardboard television, and through this TV we see them perform. In the background, there is an orchestra with Tommie, Frank, Arjan, Meneer Aart, and Lot. 	Closing Credits	The whole cast and Muppets sit at the diner table enjoying their Christmas meal.
