[[Fat Blue]] tries to order lunch at the Sesame Street Restaurant, where [[Elmo]] is the waiter and [[Grover]] is the cook. Elmo offers him the specials, all of which rhyme. ("Liver Delight: You'll think it's all right!") He declines, but every time he tries to order something from the menu, he is given a rhyming refusal. Finally he gives in and orders "a burger, me-di-um. And also French fries. Yum, yum, yum." He gets a ham on rye instead.

All this time the little black dog, who appears throughout the [[Elmo's Neighborhood]] series, has been lurking around inside the restaurant (which has a "No Dogs Allowed" sign in the window). In the last scene he runs out the door, causing Elmo to spill an ice cream sundae all over Fat Blue, as Elmo chases after the puppy. Grover hangs up a "help wanted" sign.
