During the exhibit's stop in Salt Lake City, UT, Rio Grande Street right outside the exhibiting venue Discovery Gateway was temporarily renamed "Sesame Street." The real street sign was covered with a replica street sign, while the street itself was decorated with banners showcasing a variety of Sesame Street characters.
When at the TELUS World of Science in Edmonton, Alberta, a live show was presented at a nearby mega shopping centre. "WEM Playtime Presents Elmo and Friends by TELUS World of Science" was presented only once at the West Edmonton Mall, one of the world's largest, on August 16. The show featured exercising and kids measuring the Elmo costumed character. No indication of whether this production was exclusive to the World of Science, or is presented at other venues. Generally, venues would only host meet-and-greets with Elmo.
