The Sesame Street Music Society Album is a sampler album containing excerpts of Sesame Street songs on Side One, and complete songs on Side Two. The album appears to be part of a mail-order series.

As Side One begins, and the Sesame Street Theme plays, a narrator says, "Hi there! Here's a special treat for you and your little ones: some of your children's very favorite songs from Sesame Street. I know you'll enjoy them because these are the very same Sesame Street songs your youngster hears and loves, and learns from on TV. And they're just a sample of all the great songs you can have for your very own, as members of the Sesame Street Music Society. And now, here we go to Sesame Street! Why not sing along with us?" Excerpts from nineteen other songs are played, and then the narrator says, "And now, if you will turn this record over, we will listen to complete versions of more songs from Sesame Street."

Side Two begins with the narrator saying, "Here are more songs from Sesame Street."

The cover is similar to the cover of the 10th Anniversary Album, and the exact same picture and graphics are on both sides.
