Colorforms made a set of Sesame Street Building Blocks in 1978. The set of 24 corrugated blocks are decorated with illustrations by Sesame Street storybook illustrator Michael J. Smollin. The Colorforms catalog description explains that "each side of every blocks contains a unique theme. Build a tower of Sesame Street Acrobats or turn the blocks around to create a House with windows and doors and roof sections printed on each block. Other sides feature People in Your Neighborhood, the Alphabet, and Numbers from 1 to 10."
