The Sesame Street Backpack Buddies, clip-on plushes for backpacks, were produced by Gund in 2003. Each plush figure is approximately 6 inches high.

Cookie Monster and Ernie are wearing their backpacks, Elmo is wearing his backpack and carrying a book, Zoe is wearing her backpack and a purse, and Oscar is walking to school with his feet out, wearing an apple on his lid, while Slimey is reading a book above a sign that's hanging from the trashcan, reading "Slimey is a bookworm!"

The plush characters are based on Gund's Sesame Street Mini Collection.
