Kiko Matsing and Pong Pagong
Sesame! was a Sesame Street co-production, produced in the Philippines in 1983.
The main Muppet characters were Pong Pagong, a giant lavender turtle, and Kiko Matsing, a gorilla-like Grouch.
The show only lasted one year. After the contract with Children's Television Workshop had expired, the Philippines production company tried to produce their own show, Batibot, using Kiko and Pong. CTW then took the puppets back to the Henson workshop.
