Sesam

Sesame Street was first shown in Sweden in 1976 under the name Sesam. This was a dub of the American episodes. In 1981, the name was changed to Svenska Sesam and the Swedes produced their own live action segments. As opposed to Svenska Sesam, the Sesam episodes have been re-run on Swedish TV.
