Sergio makes a brief appearance in a Mr. Callahan sketch from episode 106 of Muppets Tonight. He is the main ingredient of a "Sergio Surprise"; a drink which Polly Lobster tries to serve to Mr. Callahan. Sergio pops up out of the cup too soon and Mr. Callahan declines the refreshment. Polly reminds Sergio that he's supposed to wait until he's been drunk, and then pop out.
