Seiji Ozawa (b. 1935) is a noted Japanese conductor who served a stint with the New York Philharmonic. He became a conductor for Boston Syphony in 1960's-2002. In 1988, he conducted Placido Flamingo and the All-Animal Orchestra on Episode 2485 of Sesame Street. In the segment, Ozawa was introduced as "the world-renowned very good sport."
