Scorchy Brownfinger is the world record holder in Long-Distance Toast Hurling, the Muppet Sports sketch in the first issue of the comic book The Treasure of Peg-Leg Wilson.

Asked what the secret to his success is by sportscaster Louis Kazagger, Brownfinger reveals that he uses a special rye blend that holds the heat longer and causes him to get rid of the toast faster. He is, however, at a loss when confronted with the existential question, "What's the point?"
