The Scissor Sisters is an alternative band formed in 2001 which has found most of their success overseas, and in the American club circuit.

In 2005, the group opened the BRIT awards with their song "Take Your Mama". Jim Henson's Creature Shop created numerous background puppets, including a chorus of watermelons, a giant pink bird, dancing eggs, and a singing barn.
