Sarah's room is filled with a number of items feeding her imagination. She owns several fantasy books, including The Wizard of Oz, Snow White, and Grimm's Fairy Tales. There are dolls that look quite a bit like Ludo, Sir Didymus, and one of the Fireys, and even a board game involving a labyrinth. Other decorations include a bookend that looks like Hoggle, and a statue of Jareth. M. C. Escher's Relativity hangs on her wall along with posters for various musicals. She also owns a collection of bears, her favorite of which is named Lancelot.

While in Junk City, Sarah was led back to the room by the Junk Lady, only to discover that it was nothing but a trick to draw her away from finding her brother.
