Ryan Dillon

Jump to: navigation, search

Ryan Dillon began puppeteering with the Sesame Street Muppets in 2005. He has been working on Sesame Street productions since.

As a young puppeteer, Dillon came to the attention of the Sesame producers when he went to an audition as a high school student. He took time off from school during his senior year to participate in the shooting for Season 37.

Starting December first, Ryan and Patrick Holmes will be holding classes on puppet technique for theater and television at The Conservatory at Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre PA. The classes will teach age ranges nine to thirteen, and fourteen to adult. This workshop will engage participants in a lively, hands-on learning puppet experience. Participants will have fun learning elements of good puppetry, lightly touching on topics such as puppet lip synch, eye focus and puppet posture. Students will briefly explore performance space and coordination by using a mirror and on a video camera.
