Ruud Jans played Ruud in Sesamplein, the pilot for the Dutch co-production of Sesame Street.

Ruud is married to Saskia. In the pilot episode, Ruud and Saskia show a little girl around the new neighborhood.

Ruud only appeared in the pilot and not on Sesamstraat.
