Run-D.M.C. is a hip hop ground from New York City composed of Joseph "Rev Run" Simmons, Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels, and Jason "Jam-Master Jay" Mizell. The group became very influential in the world of hip hop, becoming the first group of their genre to be nominated for a Grammy Award.
Rev Run appeared in an episode of Sesame Street, singing "Hop This Way" with Elmo.
