"Rule, Britannia!" is a patriotic British song which proclaims "Britannia rules the waves!" It expresses pride in the freedoms enjoyed by Britons, and trust in the navy to maintain those freedoms.

It is sung as part of a medley during the battle between Glenda Jackson's pirates and the rest of the Muppet theater cast, during episode 507 of The Muppet Show.
