"Room in Your Heart" was performed by Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker on The Muppet Christmas Carol soundtrack. The song was not part of the theatrical release of the film and only included on the soundtrack. A portion of the music is heard in the original theatrical trailer.

The pair portrayed charity collectors, on behalf of the Order of Victoria Charity Foundation, who make the mistake of entering the offices of Scrooge & Marley for donations. In the film, Scrooge turns them down with an angry rant about the poor, and the startled pair leave.

The song expands on the scene, as Bunsen exhorts Ebenezer Scrooge to search his heart and show compassion to the needy. It draws a direct connection between monetary donations ("open up your pocket book") as a way to express such love. However, it also serves as an early example of kindness and the real spirit of Christmas being explained to Scrooge (lessons that would be reinforced later by the Ghost of Christmas Present). Beaker, in addition to solo singing, is also able to demonstrate his dancing skills (even if the soundtrack listener is deprived of visuals).
