Rod Stewart (b. 1945) is a singer/songwriter, famous for such songs as "Maggie May" and "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" The 1993 Muppet Trading Cards set spoofed the singer, with Rowlf as Rowlf Stewart performing "Waggie May."

He was also one of the many celebrities who performed at the Golden Jubilee for Queen Elizabeth II, as did Kermit the Frog.

In the Sesame Street game show sketch, "Family Food", Richard Dawson tells Joey Hungry that he likes his "Rod Stewart hairdo".

Bad Polly sings Stewart's hit "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" at the beginning of every Mr. Callahan sketch.
