Richie Havens (b. 1941) is a folk singer known for his opening performance at the Woodstock Festival in 1969.

Havens recorded an insert for Sesame Street that aired during the 1975-1976 season. In the insert, Havens counts from 1 to 20. (EKA: Episode 0877)

Havens also performed "Wonder Child" on the show, and recorded another version of Steve Zuckerman's "Imagination Rain" for a Sesame cartoon during the 1990s.
