Rhea Perlman (b. 1948) is best remembered from her role as Carla Tortelli LeBec on Cheers, as well as her marriage to actor Danny DeVito.

She appeared on Sesame Street in Episode 2822 as the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. She also appeared in the celebrity version of "Put Down the Duckie" with DeVito.

Perlman also appeared in the 1994 special Sesame Street's All-Star 25th Birthday: Stars and Street Forever!, as one of the hosts of a worm music station called "Worm TV".

Aside from Cheers, Pearlman has portrayed Carla on Frasier, The Simpsons, Mickey's 60th Birthday and Disneyland's 35th Anniversary Celebration.

Other credits include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Mad About You, The Critic, Taxi, The Earth Day Special, guest hosting Saturday Night Live, and the feature film adapation of Roald Dahl's Matilda.
