The Redwood National Park is a United States National Park located along the coast of northern California. The park, or rather parks as it is made up of four National and State parks, contains 133,000 acres and protects approximately 45% of all remaining Coastal Redwood trees.

The Coastal Redwoods, also known as California redwood, giant redwood or Sequoias are long-lived evergreen, often living for 1200 - 1800 years and reaching up to 379 feet and 26 feet in diameter.
