Raymond Scott (born Harry Warnow, 1908-1994) was a composer known for his electronic inventions and creations. He is most popularly known for his association with Warner Brothers cartoons, although he never intended his music to be used as such. His composition "Powerhouse" in particular was frequently used for factory and other mechanically-themed scenes.

Beginning a collaboration with Jim Henson around 1965, Scott wrote music for many of Henson's original short films until about 1969, where he was sometimes credited as Ramond Scott. His recordings from 1953-1969 have been re-released on the double CD with book Manhattan Research, Inc., which features his collaborations with Jim Henson and Robert Moog.
