Rafael was a Puerto Rican man who worked at the Fix-It Shop on Sesame Street. He enjoyed playing with the neighborhood children, and often taught them Spanish words.

Rafael appeared on Sesame Street during the third season. He opened "the L and R Fix-It Shop" with Luis in Episode 0330.
