The Put Down the Pacifier initiative was launched in 2011, with Put Down the Pacifier Day on November 4. For the campaign, Sesame Workshop release a series of simple videos with Elmo, on their YouTube channel. The videos Include Elmo singing a two-line song about becoming a big kid, to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".
