Princess Vendela is the leader of a band of space pirates who board the Swinetrek in episode 108 of Muppets Tonight. First Mate Piggy describes her as "hideous, fat, grumpy and self-deluded." According to her, "the sight of this monster princess is so grotesque, you may lose your appetite for food and drink."

The crew of the ship is horrified by her presence until she appears on the bridge, the very opposite to Piggy's description. She threatens to make them her personal slaves so long as they surrender peacefully. Promptly, the gentlemen crew members pack their bags to stand at her side.
