Princess Katie is King Kenny the Kind's granddaughter in the story "Katie and the King". While all of the king's subjects bring him things beginning with the letter K that he already owns, she arrives to give him something that he has not already recieved, a kiss. With that, he happily proclaims his granddaughter as keeper of the Ks.
